We are seeking a skilled Floor Fitter, Flooring Installer or Carpenter aspiring to transition to a Contracts Manager role, and who is based in Southern Ireland.
Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the construction industry.
They specialise in a wide range of construction projects, from commercial developments to residential builds,.
This role is essential in ensuring their projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.    You will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and management of construction contracts across projects.
Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of contracts, from negotiation and procurement to administration and closeout.
You will ensure that all contractual obligations are met, manage relationships with contractors and clients, and mitigate risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  Key Responsibilities: Contract Management:  Lead the preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly defined, agreed upon, and adhered to by all parties involved.
Project Coordination:  Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure seamless contract execution.
Monitor project progress, address issues promptly, and ensure alignment with contract terms.
Risk Management:  Proactively identify and manage potential risks related to contracts, developing strategies to mitigate them and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Budget Management:  Partner with the finance team to oversee budgets, accurately forecast costs, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
Supplier and Client Relations:  Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
Ensure communication is clear, consistent, and professional, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Documentation:  Ensure that all contracts and associated documentation are up-to-date, accurate, and securely stored.
Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management as required.
Compliance:  Guarantee that all contracts and projects adhere to relevant industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Key Requirements: Minimum of three years of experience in contracts management within the construction industry.
Centrally based location in Southern Ireland with a willingness to travel as required, covering areas from Dublin to Cork to Waterford.
A full, clean driving license is essential for this role.
Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and contracts simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of contract law and construction regulations.
Proficiency with relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, contract management software).
Desirable Attributes: Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction contracts.
Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
