Job Description: Floor Supervisor Location: South Anne Street, Dublin 2 Company: Alteration Centre Position: Floor Supervisor Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Floor Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our alterations centre.
The ideal candidate will have a background in managing a team, tailoring, quality control, and customer service and machinist experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day tasks in the alterations centre.
Oversee the alteration and preparation of garments to ensure high-quality standards.
Conduct quality control checks on altered garments.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Measure fabrics and garments accurately for alterations.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production and service goals.
Ensure clear and effective communication within the team.
Qualifications: Experience in tailoring and garment alterations.
Machinist experience is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Skills: Supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Competence in measuring and altering garments.
Knowledge of quality control processes in garment alterations.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
