Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic, personable, and experienced Food and Beverage Duty Manager with a strong background in bar operations to join our dynamic team.
In this role , you will oversee daily operations , including scheduling inventory management quality control , and any other responsibilities assigned to you by the F&B Manager Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Foster a warm and inviting atmosphere for members and guests , promptly addressing, and resolving any concerns.
Train staff to enhance customer service skills and ensure consistent service Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, in line with club standards> Conduct training session on drink preparations techniques and recipe adherence Bar Management: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked always.
Conduct regular inventory assessment.
Train staff on inventory management practice and bar maintenance procedures.
Financial transactions: Accurately handle cash and card transactions, following club procedures for opening and closing the bar.
Provide ongoing training on financial handling procedures and point of sale system Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as licensing laws.
Educate staff on compliance requirement and best prracti9ce for safe beverage service Team Collaboration: Work closely with other bar staff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operation and a high level of service.
Help F&B Manager Facilitate team training session to promote effective communication and team work .
Event Support: Assist with club events and private functions, ensuring excellent service is maintained throughout.
Qualifications and Skills Experience: Previous experience in a bar management role , preferably in a high-end or busy environment.
Catering experience is a plus.
Staff Management Skills: Experience in recruiting , training, and evaluating staff performance to ensure a high standard of service and team morale Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
Knowledge of food and beverage trends.
Strong Inventory Management : Skills in inventory tracking and control , ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste .
Service Orientation: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
Appearance: Presentable and professional appearance, adhering to club dress code standards.
Problem Solving :Strong critical thinking skills to address challenges efficiently and effectively.
Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Team Player: Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members Certification: Relevant certifications in responsible alcohol service and food handling preferred.
