As Food and Beverage Manager you will report to the General Manager and the Deputy General Manager, the Food & Beverage Manager will oversee the smooth and efficient running of all food and beverage departments within the Hotel, ensuring a profitable operation whilst complying with company standards and ensuring complete guest satisfaction at all times.
Main Duties: Ensure the smooth management of the food & beverage service Effectively manage the costs and stock of all food & beverage departments, ensuring the achievement of a favourable GP Roster your department(s) efficiently ensuring that guest needs are exceeded consistently, and targets are achieved Work as part of the Team, building a professional and respectful working relationship with your team and other managers of the hotel alike Offer the highest level of Customer Care in line with the company standards Ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department product in addition to being aware of the total hotel facilities Promote sales within your departments and across the hotel Regularly complete a Training Needs Analysis, ensuring that your team are suitably trained to carry out their role competently Control and monitor staff whilst on duty, ensuring all duties are being carried out thoroughly, competently and to the correct standard Manage the performance of your team via job chats, departmental meetings, performance appraisals etc., ensuring that your team are engaged, appreciated and productive Ensure excellent customer service at all times in line with the company's customer service program recognising that you are an Ambassador of the hotel at all times.
The successful candidate will have: 5 years' F&B management experience in a hotel: Have excellent 'attention to detail' and be standards focused: Have 5 years' experience in managing a team to achieve goals; Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to create a personable, professional and respectful relationship with both the team and our guests; Have a professional appearance; Demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude to work; Be available to work full time in Ireland without restrictions This role requires a customer focused, standards driven manager with strong food and beverage experience and commercial acumen.
