Job Overview: BrookLodge & Macreddin Village is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our breakfast and lunch service teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will ensure that every guest enjoys a top-tier dining experience while maintaining smooth, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee and coordinate the breakfast and lunch services, ensuring seamless, efficient service for all guests.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the Food and Beverage team, ensuring high standards of performance, hospitality, and teamwork.
Guest Experience: Provide outstanding customer service, handling guest inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally.
Ensure all guests' needs are met to create memorable dining experiences.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Managers, chefs, and other departments to maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and service.
Training & Development: Assist with the training of new team members, ensuring they understand service standards, food safety regulations, and the importance of guest satisfaction.
Operational Efficiency: Monitor and manage service flow during peak hours, ensuring all areas are adequately staffed and that service runs smoothly.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all food safety, health, and hygiene standards are strictly followed in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Guest Feedback: Gather and respond to guest feedback, using insights to improve and refine the service experience.
Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, stock management, and other administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth operation.
Qualifications: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, ideally in a hotel or restaurant environment.
Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, particularly breakfast and lunch service.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Food safety certification is desirable but not essential.
