About The Role Duties and Responsibilities of the Role: Supervise, train, and motivate F&B staff.
Create staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational needs.
Ensure exceptional customer service by interacting with guests, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly.
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure guests have a positive dining experience.
Handle reservations, special requests, and VIP guests.
Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Monitor cleanliness, organisation, and maintenance of the restaurant or bar area.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
Manage inventory levels and order supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Conduct regular inventory audits to minimise waste and shrinkage.
Provide ongoing training to staff on service standards, product knowledge, and upselling techniques.
Ensure stock rotation occurs and stock is 'held' in the correct manner, recording any wastage Attend relevant staff meetings Ensure all drinks or food requests are billed correctly.
To conduct regular inventories of stock, glassware & other supplies and ensure tight control of these items Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among the team.
Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions as necessary.
Ensure the department's maintenance and cleaning schedule is adhered to, ensuring all work surfaces, shelves, floors, walls, sinks, cupboards etc are cleaned to a high standard.
Adhere to all regulations in respect of health and safety Any other duties as directed by members of the management team Requirements for the role: Proven experience as an F&B Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service techniques and menu items.
Familiarity with inventory management and cost control procedures.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
