Food & Beverage Assistant

This is an exciting time for an outgoing, ambitious and passionate individual to join our Food and Beverage Team at Ballyfin.

We are looking for Full-time individuals to join our team at Ballyfin.
This position will be working 5 days over 7 days, flexibility is required.
What we are looking for: As a Food and Beverage Assistant, we expect you to be passionate about the service you provide to our guests and have a geniune interest in customer service, food and drinks.
In your role, we will provide you with excellent training to allow you to be confident in what you do and also have the confidence to communicate with our guests.

We are looking for people with the right attitude and commitment to the job.
A comprehensive induction program and ongoing training will be provided.
Having experience in a luxurious establishment is not essential but is an advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Maintaining, storing and up keeping of table and glassware Setting up tables for the various service periods Welcome guests in the appropriate manner Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies The ideal candidates must have: Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented Positive outlook and outgoing personality Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent English Immaculate grooming 2 years previous serving experience would be an advantage Their own transport is advantageus and working hours are flexible Ballyfin offer competitive rates, a generous gratuity policy and have a full brochure of exciting employee benefits.
