We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Food & Beverage Manager: Your main responsibilities will include: Working closely with managers and their teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

To ensure all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay from all departmental personnel.
To ensure systems are in place to handle all guest queries promptly and efficiently To ensure we always offer guests consistently high standards of quality through training and monitoring To efficiently and effectively control your departmental operations To ensure Hotel standards are achieved at all times Ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, appearance, body language and conduct of employees is maintained by all employees in department To ensure all accident and incidents are investigated and reported to the relevant people and to assist in providing all relevant backup.
To ensure all investigations and appropriate action is taken to ensure incident does not re occur.
To ensure all relevant health and safety requirements are in place for areas under control and to ensure they are kept up to date To appraise all managers/supervisors in the F&B department regularly in accordance with agreed appraisal procedure and to ensure all departmental managers/supervisors carry out their employee appraisals To assist in the recruitment and selection of departmental management and staff in accordance with agreed Hotel procedure To ensure all problems are resolved effectively within the departments Ability to convert the knowledge of wines and alcoholic beverages into product sales and service Knowledge of food & beverage promotional techniques Knowledge of pricing strategies Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies and equipment The Ideal candidate: Must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role and property size - 4* Hotel.
Must be passionate about the food and beverage departments Must be able to demonstrate leadership presence Strong understanding of food and beverage, coffee, wine, and cocktails.
Proven exemplary guest service and sales skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
