Food Operations Production Team Leader | Kilcoole, Wicklow | Full Time | Salary relative to experience Our client is a premium artisan producer of condiments ( chutneys, pasta & pizza sauces).
They operate in a modern purpose built production unit and supply to the multiple, independent and food service sectors.
Are you the right person for the job?
Authorised to work in Ireland Own transport required A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in food production.
Previous successful team lead experience is an asset for this position.
HACCP Level 3 or higher required Native English speaker A genuine interest in food and food product development.
An ability to work on own initiative, be self motivated & have the capability to work under pressure during peak seasonal production Strong attention to detail in relation to quality, traceability & all areas of HACCP and BRC START management Be a high energy individual with a can do attitude to motivate and organise a small team of dedicated staff to ensure that production runs efficiently and maximises the capacity of the facility What will your role look like?
Lead a small busy production team Actively involved in daily production Directly responsible for overseeing all aspects of production; from preparation through to labelling, packing, storage & despatch & including purchasing of all ingredients & packaging Work with our consultant QA to maintain the highest level of BRC START and drive continuous improvement within the team Support safe, compliant, efficient manufacturing based on customer requirements, daily output capacity & stock holding Participate in NPD & the refinement of recipes Contribute to the enhancement of customer relationships & commitment to work with the team to deliver on customer expectations What can you expect in return?
