Neville Hotels Newest Hotel, Ravenport Resort, a deluxe hotel, golf course and holiday lodge resort in the well-known area of Curracloe in Wexford, overlooking the famous Curracloe beach.
The hotel boasts 50 bedrooms and suites, together with bar and restaurant, swimming pool and spa. 22 holiday lodges will complete the resort, which will be nestled amongst the 18-hole golf course.
We are therefore seeking to recruit Food Runners for mostly Friday, Saturday and Sunday work with some weekdays during Holidays Periods .
At the Ravenport our Food and Beverage Food Runners will contribute to the smooth and effective running of all aspects of Food and Beverage service for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, weddings and private functions, and room service.
Ensuring at all times that our guests experience the highest standard of efficiency, professionalism and friendliness.

Experience: - The ideal candidate will be a natural team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
They will have a minimum of one-year previous Food and Beverage experience in a similar role and have a flexible attitude towards shift work as late evenings, midweek and weekend work is required.
The role: - Ensure all guests are given a warm and friendly welcome throughout the hotel and on arrival into service areas, and where appropriate, meet, greet, and seat guests.
To offer the highest level of guest service in all service areas, ensuring the agreed 4* standards are achieved at all times.
Anticipate guest needs and assistance that may be required, whilst being attentive to the smallest details.
Ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department and products, in respect of opening times, menus, beverages, and pricing..
Ensure effective communication to deliver the correct standard of service.
Be able to recommend and upsell menu items, wine, and beverages, and promote sales throughout the hotel.
Ensure all glassware and tableware is thoroughly polished, salt and pepper cellars are cleaned and filled, table and chairs are disinfected and cleaned, and all menus cleaned, prior to service, or prior to seating guests at tables.
Ensure that all service areas are immaculate during after service, ensure bins are emptied, floors mopped/hoovered, dirty linen removed and stored appropriately, and glass surfaces cleaned.
Ensure counter tops, table tops and bases and furniture are clean at all times.
Ensure that all service areas are immaculate at all times for weddings, events, guests & viewing appointments.
Ensure you are aware of all total hotel facilities.
Ensure all issues and complaints are promptly addressed and communicated to your supervisor or manager.
