Manufacturing Operator Our client is looking for a motivated and skilled Manufacturing Operator to join our team in Mullingar.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing polymer production tasks according to work instructions and procedures, while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Accurately measure and weigh raw materials in preparation for production and load them into production machinery Operate production machinery according to work instructions Monitor the production process to ensure efficiency and quality Perform milling and grinding of polymer materials Package and label finished polymer products Regularly clean production and processing equipment Receive and inspect raw materials upon delivery Assist with dispatch activities for product samples and customer orders Maintain and update production records (Batch Processing Record) and other required documentation Report any issues with machinery or production processes to the Production Team Leader Assist with various other daily operational tasks as needed Contribute to the companys goals by proactively taking initiative, focusing on performance, and prioritising safety Qualifications: Leaving Certificate or equivalent required; relevant work experience may substitute for formal education Familiarity with equipment systems utilising multiple utilities (compressed air, electrical supply, vacuum, steam, chilled water, etc.)
Practical and hands-on approach to daily tasks Eagerness to learn and adapt to an evolving production environment Ability to safely operate high-pressure and high-temperature equipment Strong commitment to safety for yourself and others Sound judgment and ability to work independently Legible handwriting and ability to complete documentation accurately Strong organisational skills, with the ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks concurrently Methodical work approach with excellent focus to ensure task completion in an efficient and accurate manner Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Consistently demonstrates responsible and ethical behavior Ability to add value to the organisation by understanding the business, making informed decisions, and driving innovation Preferred Experience: Prior experience as an operator or technician in chemical, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments Familiarity with cleanroom environments is an advantage
