Our client, a market leading firm of Accountants and Advisors, seek a recently qualified accountant for the position ofCorporate Finance Executive.
You will join a team of highly experienced professionals, who have won numerous awards for the Corporate Finance deals they have worked on.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain top quality corporate finance experience in a business which values it people.
This business have an excellent deal flow, and it is anticipated that 2024 will be another successful year for them.
You will work with a wide variety of clients on an extensive range of projects from mergers and acquisitions to valuations to business planning and raising bank finance.
You may have existing experience of working in Corporate Finance, although they are happy to consider applicants coming from non Corporate Finance Backgrounds i.e.
Audit, Tax, Accounting, banking, however some previous experience working within a client facing professional services / Accounting / Advisory firm would be required.
This role is being offered on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week in their Dublin office and 2 days from home.
The Role: Carrying out Pre and Post contract financial Due Diligence and Financial reviews.
Preparing and assisting with Valuation reports.
M&A growth strategy for our national and international clients.
Preparing business plans and integrated financial projections.
Fundraising - understanding banking facility agreements and overview of the various lenders and funding options available in the Irish market.
Assisting with Financial Modelling.
Advising on Debt and Equity raising.
Assisting with sale or purchase mandates including preparation of information memoranda, management of virtual data rooms etc.
Preparing decision making papers for presentation to key internal and external stakeholders Assisting in the structuring of deals.
Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
The Candidate: A qualified accountant in ACA / ACCA / CPA with at least 3-4 years experience.
This experience could be in Corporate Finance or alternatively in audit, accounting or tax.
Have a curious mind, can do attitude and strong commercial acumen.
Previous experience working on projects and preparing reports for Transaction Services / M&A / Due Diligence is an advantage.
Ambitious, self-motivated, and excited about working in a client-facing role within a dynamic team.
Excellent accounting and analytical skills.
Strong leadership skills to encourage and mentor junior members in the team.
Excellent attention to detail.
Great interpersonal skills with all stakeholders.
Previous experience managing assignments from planning, preparation and reviewing.
Excellent Word, PPT & Excel skills essential.
