My client, a leading firm of accountants and business advisors, with offices in Dublin are currently experiencing strong growth in their Outsourced Accounting department.
This team prepare financial statements, management accounting and tax returns for mix of international and indigenous companies.
Due to this growth, they are looking to hire a recently qualified accountant (although a part qualified accountant with suitable experience would also be considered), with at least 2 years relevant experience in a general practice or similar outsourced accounting department.
This person will play a key role in the ongoing growth of the department and enjoy strong career progression.
There is a competitive salary on offer for the right person and flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week, if desired.
Duties include: Oversee a portfolio of compliance clients Preparing/reviewing financial statements across a broad spectrum of clients Preparation / Review of Monthly/Quarterly Management accounts Preparation / Review of VAT, RCT & PAYE/PRSI returns Review of weekly and monthly payroll (prepared by payroll staff) Coordinate and manage clients deadlines Reporting directly to manager/partner What we require from you?
ACCA/AITI/CPA/ACA or CIMA qualification At least 2-3 years practice experience (all round experience required) Experience using cloud based accounting packages Xero and Surf Accounts Production is a necessity Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent interpersonal and communication skills People management experience Ability to work independently and complete tasks for partner/manager review Skills: accounts preparation Management Accounting tax returns Vat Returns accountancy practice Financial Accounting Benefits: Work From Home
