FP&A Accountant Our client, a multi-national FMCG based in Dublin 24, is looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant to join their team.

In this role, you will be working primarily within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, to support the development of financial plans as well as the reporting of actual KPIs against key comparatives across both operational profit and free cash flow.

You will also proactively support individual projects/initiatives across the finance function (financial reporting, controls, and supply & inventory management) to enhance knowledge sharing and resource allocation across the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to develop their career in FP&A, and there will be opportunities to progress. The role is offered on a hybrid basis.

The Role: Prepare and deliver local market reporting of volume and finance performance each month, performing variance analysis on KPIs. Communicate key business drivers to all key stakeholders. Support the planning process, partner with the business to develop marketing and OpEx budgets in line with market and Group requirements. Challenge budget submissions from the business and control planning iterations throughout the planning lifecycle. Input the planning data required to meet Regional and Corporate submission requirements through the various planning systems. Prepare and support the analysis of inventory and demand planning projections to ensure DIO's are managed to maximise free cash flow. Assistance and support as required in relation to financial controls, including local policies/procedures. Support the Free Cash Flow Manager and Financial Accounting & Risk Manager in the accounting process for monthly, quarterly and annual closing of statutory accounts. The Person: Appropriate accounting certification, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent (P/Q considered). 3-5 years' experience in finance, within industry or via an audit/consultancy practice with commercial and financial acumen. Excellent PC skills (MS Office), working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) desirable but not essential. A team player with an ability to communicate openly, work effectively in a diverse team and build relationships with key stakeholders. Values high-quality standards, proactive in finding solutions and able to work effectively under pressure to handle multiple tasks. Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills. Excellent command of English.
