Overview: My client is one of the leaders in their field and due to continued growth they are now looking at recruiting an FP&A Manager to join their busy team.
This is a new FP&A team within the very large existing finance team of this group.
The team will have high visibility across the group and work on both high level and granular levels of information.
The group sees the FP&A function as invaluable to making strategic business decisions so it's a great role for profile within the group.

Reporting to: Head of FP&A (Director)

The successful candidate will work closely with the different heads of finance and other areas of the business where you will foster and develop strong relationships with the business and provide clear and concise analysis and reporting of the numbers.
You will be involved in forecasting and strategy decisions.

On successful hire your duties and responsibilities will include: Create insight for the business, emphasising the implications of the numbers and suggested actions, not just commenting on variances as well as ongoing performance management Own the insight generation for a selection of; Sales & Salaries / Margin & WC / Opex, Capex & cashflow Look to identify best practices to the KPIs that are used within the business, ensuring that what is measured throughout the business is correct, raising potential improvements with senior management Ability to work across various stakeholders within the business and bring knowledge from various sources into the insights & discussions, looking primarily at the financial impact but also other implications Identify any issues with the accuracy of the data that is received, working with the FP&A controller to identify solutions Working with the other Commercial Finance teams to deliver improved partnering capabilities in the business; delivering a robust periodic commercial reporting process To be considered for an interview, your background, skills and experience will include: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field Accounting qualification preferable (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) 5+ years relevant post qualification experience in FP&A or related field Significant experience of working with reporting & visualisation tools e.g.
Cognos (or a related planning/business intelligence system) and Tableau Strong systems skills with excellent excel and power point skills Strong financial acumen and modelling skills with exposure to business case development Strong communications skills (written and verbal) – need to communicate at all levels Strong planning and organisation skills, ability to plan and prioritise work schedule and work within agreed timescales This job is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your industry exposure and experience, develop your strong financial analysis skills and work with a company that is growing year on year.
