Freight Forwarder

Role: Freight Forwarder – Sea Freight

Location: Dublin 24

Salary: €40k – €45k DOE

Role Requirements:  Coordinate and manage sea freight shipments from origin to destination Book cargo with shipping lines and negotiate freight rates Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations and customs requirements Track and monitor shipments, providing timely updates to customers Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations Handle documentation, including bills of lading, certificates, and customs paperwork Work closely with internal departments to meet customer expectations Resolve issues related to delays, damages, or customs clearances Manage cost control and invoicing processes Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the shipment process Candidate Requirements:  Previous experience in sea freight forwarding or logistics Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in freight forwarding software  Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Full eligibility to work in Ireland OB22
