Freight Forwarding/Customer Service Operations Executive Permanent, Full-time (Monday to Friday) Location: Santry, D9 Salary: 37-40K Neg DOE + Company Pension Scheme Our client, a global freight forwarding company with offices in Santry, Dublin 9 is seeking to hire an experience Ocean Freight Operations & Customer Service Executive to join their existing team.
Required Skills/Experience: 3+ years' proven experience working in shipping or logistics operations A proven ability to coordinate and plan schedules Strong customer service driven Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Attention to detail in completing tasks in an efficient and timely manner Microsoft office proficient (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Duties & Responsibilities: Import and export operations Updating OPS / Sailing schedules.
Booking confirmations to customers.
Submitting VGM for shipments.
Submitting shipping instructions & sending details to shipping lines.
Monitoring and tracking shipments Completing import documentation Preparing SAD document (Customs Clearance).
Requesting telex release, Seaway Bill of Lading, approving/requesting Original Bills of Lading.
Submitting VGM for shipments.
Dealing with external bodies to clear products into the EU Organising and communicating with transport for delivery of products to importers.
