Fresh Food Manager

Main purpose of the role:Ensure the store`s fresh food departments operate efficiently and effectively and provide our customers with the very best customer service and fresh food offering at all times.
The ideal candidate will have/be:- 2 years` experience in a Fresh Food Department is desirable- 1 years` experience in a Supervisor/Manager role is desirable- Excellent communication skills- Good delegation skills- An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets- Passion for fresh food.

Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative- Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the fresh departments by prioritising and delegating the workload appropriately- Set, monitor and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs as agreed with Store Manager- Control stocktaking and overheads as per fresh budget- Foster good working relationships among the team- Hold regular fresh food meetings and communicate relevant details and results to the team- Manage employee performance, giving regular feedback, recognition and encouragement- Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and consistent with store policy- Manage employee rostering and annual leave for fresh departments- Ensure merchandising and presentation of the fresh department is of the highest standard at all times and in accordance with relevant store planograms and guidelines.
