Client: Our client, a leading Multinational Semiconductor EDA provider, requires a Front-End Design Digital Architect for a role based in Cork City, Ireland.
Role: You will be joining a team developing leading-edge Intellectual Property (IP) for a variety of High-Tech Markets. The Digital Electronics Design Engineering Architect will be based in Ireland as part of an experienced Controller IP Team with long-established Controller development sites in Europe and India.
Responsibilities: Technical leadership of complex IP such as UCIe, PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, MIPI-VisualHands-on leadership of RTL, Testbenches & FPGA Platform developmentPlanning of activities and milestones for the Digital Controller Development teamsLeadership of cross-functional technical meetings with Analog & Software counterpartsSupport customer pre-sales and post-sales meetingsParticipate in Technical Review Meetings and Checklist Reviews as part of ISO-9001Represent Cadence in Standards Body Working Groups e.g. UCIe, IEEE, PCI-SIG, MIPIRepresent Cadence by presenting at Industry Conferences such as PCI-SIG, IEEE, DACRequirements: 16+ years' experience in microelectronics/EDA industryExperience of Verilog RTL Design essentialExperience of Metric Driven Verification (MDV) essentialExperience of Front-end design tools covering LINT, Synthesis & CDC Analysis essentialExperience of SoC Architecture and Development essentialExperience of Technical Team leadership essentialExcellent oral and written English essentialSelf-motivated with excellent planning, interpersonal, and communication skillsEducation: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related disciplineAdditional Skills/Preferences: Experience of AMBA, PCIe, CXL & UCIe protocols preferredExperience of Quality processes, such as ISO-9001 & ISO-26262 preferredContact: For further information, please contact Mícheál at Software Placements on 00353 1 5254642 or email ******
