The Role As Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end logistics process, from order management and stock control to courier negotiations and warehouse operations.
This is not a "ready-made" role; you'll be integral to building and refining processes that will shape the company's growth journey.
You'll manage day-to-day operations while identifying and implementing efficiencies across the supply chain, ensuring scalability, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Process Development & Growth: Design, implement, and optimise logistics systems to align with the company's evolving needs.
Order & Stock Management: Oversee the order lifecycle, manage pipeline and ad-hoc orders, and ensure optimum stock levels with minimal waste.
ERP System Optimisation: Regularly review and enhance ERP systems for operational accuracy and efficiency.
Warehouse Leadership: Lead warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards and smooth operational flow.
Courier & Supplier Negotiations: Build strong relationships with courier partners and negotiate cost-effective contracts.
Logistics Optimisation: Continuously evaluate and improve logistics operations, using data to anticipate and address challenges.
Administrative Oversight: Maintain accurate records, prepare insightful reports, and ensure regulatory compliance (must have an understanding of batch records, traceability and food saftey).
What We're Looking For A logistics professional with at least 5-8 years' experience, ideally in food production or FMCG.
A proven track record in developing processes and driving operational growth.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
Experience with ERP systems and data-driven decision-making.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations.
