In EY FS Ireland, we are expanding our Consulting practice and building our Technology Consulting team as a key component of our NextWave Strategy. Your key responsibilities: Lead the technical delivery of payment/cards projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time with high quality standards.Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, engineering and test leads to drive delivery.Ensure the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis and mapping stage. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.Oversee the development and testing of payment systems.Stay abreast of the latest payment industry trends to drive innovation within the company.Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.To qualify for the role, you must have: 8+ years of strong experience in technical project management, with a focus on payment and/or cards systems.Strong experience in stakeholder management.Knowledge and proven experience of working with IT Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (SDLC) including Waterfall & Agile.Ability to build and manage relationships across business and technology stakeholders.Strong understanding of payment processing systems, payments architecture, and industry regulations.Good understanding of European payments schemes e.g., SEPA.Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience in delivering business value from technology as well as communicating the value to senior business stakeholders.Experience working in banks across multiple product domains (e.g., Retail, Corporate, SME, Treasury).Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.Experience with various project management tools and methodologies.Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly.Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.Strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in IT or relevant field.Domain Areas: PaymentsCardsChannelsOpen BankingProducts: FIS Open Payments FrameworkDovetail PaymentsTSYSHave working experience one or more of the following tools: MS Office, VisioJira, ConfluenceIdeally, you'll also have experience in one or more of the following: Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty.Conducting Workshops and interviews.What working at EY offers: We offer a competitive remuneration package.
