Full-Time Bar & Restaurant Assistant

The Mespil Hotel currently has an excellent opportunity available for an experiencedFood and Beverage Assistantsto join our team.
We have a full-time position available and you must be available to work various shifts such as 6am to 2pm and also from 3pm to 11pm and our closing shift from 6pm to 2am Purpose: To ensure that all guests are welcomed and acknowledged when they arrive to the bar and restaurant and are served efficiently, courteously and to the set standard of the department.
Key Responsibilities: Bar and Restaurant Operations Welcoming and acknowledging all customers to the bar Taking drinks orders and food orders from guest Serving food and beverages to guests Barista duties Clearing and resetting tables Ensuring bar presentation standards are consistently achieved Following all cash handling procedures Using Micros to ensure that guests are billed correctly and to take payments Carrying out all cleaning tasks as required Customer Service To provide an efficient and friendly service to guests at all times To follow the Mespil Hotel key standards at all times To handle any guest requests as required To maintain a positive, friendly attitude with both hotel guests and your colleagues The ideal candidate for this position will have: Previous 2 years experience in a similar position Fluent spoken English Excellent communication skills A desire to provide a consistently high standard of customer service The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Flexibility with regards to hours A good command of the English Language Impeccable self-presentation Benefits package: Competitive salary Meals on Duty Provision of uniform Educational Support Provision of internal and external training and development Complimentary stays in sister property Social Events Calendar Employee Recognition Awards Employee Assistance Programme Skills: Bar Hotel Customer Service Restaurant Benefits: Meal Allowance / Canteen Paid Holidays
