The successful candidate will work within the Supply Chain Planning Team at the Analog Devices Limerick Facility and assume Planning responsibility for a specific set of Products within ADI's portfolio.
The planner is responsible for the critical targets that drive optimal service and cost for ADI. He/she will ensure customer orders are fulfilled based on Customer Request date (CRD) or First Commit date (FCD). Review and analyse CRD and FCD gaps, address root causes and recommend process and system improvements to address the gaps.
Deliver world class service and responsiveness levels to ADI field teams and customers. Identify and collaborate on all aspects of customer experience at ADI.
The role will include elements of Demand Forecasting, Manufacturing Scheduling, Inventory Control and Customer Service for the assigned products. Strong collaboration with the Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing and Engineering teams is an integral part of the role.
Education and Experience: Essential: Graduate with a primary degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.Recent graduate with 1-2 years work experience in the semiconductor / electronics industry. Advantageous: Experience in leading edge ERP systems an advantage: SAP, PROMIS, SQL, TableauDemonstrated experience and ability in a fast moving, customer facing role would be beneficial. The Person: Strong numerical ability. Detail oriented, analytical, and organized.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work on one's own initiative while at the same time being able to contribute within a team environment.Willing to work in a fast-paced environment to quickly analyse situations and make informed decisions.Resourceful and assertive.Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft office applications.
