The Industrial Connectivity and Control BU are seeking a motivated graduate Digital Design Engineer to join our team located at ADI's European Research and Development Headquarters in Limerick. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team with excellent opportunities to work on leading edge development in Industrial automation. Our diverse portfolio of products encompasses Industrial communication (e.g. Ethernet Phys and switches, IO-Link, Homebus) with configurable measurement and control (precision Analog and Digital I/O), which operate in harsh high voltage industrial domains and facilitate a wide variation of skill development and technology node experience.
This position will afford the successful candidate the opportunity to learn, develop and enhance their digital design skills from experienced engineers, working across multidisciplinary cross-functional teams including Analog Design, Design Verification, Physical Implementation Test, Bench Evaluation and Applications. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate engineer to develop leading edge digital solutions on large scale mixed signal silicon developments for applications in Industrial communications and control.
Duties include, but are not limited to: RTL coding to develop digital design solutionsImplementation of designs in silicon chip and FPGA formsCollaborate with other team members to achieve the overall product designs:Analog design engineers to achieve mixed-signal product designsDesign Verification team to validate new designsPhysical design team to achieve implementation of the digital cores (i.e. synthesis, P&R, timing closure, scan production test, etc.)Actively participate in product definition and reviewsMinimum qualifications: Graduate Engineer with Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Engineering or Science disciplineThe Ideal Candidate: Strong desire to learn in a highly innovative and collaborative environmentSelf-motivated individual, results oriented and willing to develop solutions to new technical challengesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to explore new solutionsAbility to work as part of a product development team to achieve a common goalInterest/experience in programming/scriptingPreferred/Advantageous Skills: Experience of Verilog/VHDL RTL design considered advantageousUnderstanding of fundamental Analog and Digital CircuitsJob Req Type: Graduate Job
