Location of Post: Maintenance Department, Galway University Hospitals, Saolta University Health Care Group. There is currently one permanent & full-time vacancy in the Maintenance Department, GUH. The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises.
A panel may be created from which permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
Minimum Requirements:Have successfully undertaken or be willing to undertake the Solas Safe Pass Health & Safety Awareness Training Programme, or equivalent approved training programme in line with service need. (Please note if you have not undertaken this training, you will be required to successfully complete this training on taking up the post)Demonstrate experience of implementing Planned Maintenance ProgrammesDemonstrate experience of working with specialist & essential building services systems and technologies, e.g. back-up generators, UPS units, AHU's, water treatment systems etc.
