Location Overview: Our Park Place office is located in central Dublin, overlooking the Iveagh Gardens, with easy access to public transport options.
Role Description: As part of Global Banking & Markets, GCIB Credit manages and delivers the credit relationship for wholesale clients in accordance with the company's growth strategy, risk appetite, and underwriting standards. We work closely with various lines of business, relationship managers, product specialists, and Risk.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Global Banking & Markets product spectrum.Assess the creditworthiness of prospective borrowers and establish appropriate terms and conditions to mitigate risk.Assist with structuring transactions and negotiating credit documentation.Drive deal selection, screening, and transaction management processes.Establish appropriate internal risk ratings for clients and implement accurate adjustments throughout the client's credit life cycle.Develop and maintain internal relationships with business partners.What we are looking for: Credit risk experience analyzing Corporate and/or FI credits at a financial institution.Corporate/FI credit skills and risk judgment.Understanding of credit risk sensitivities and risk drivers of exposures.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Skills that will help: Effective interpersonal and communication skills.Fluency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.French or German language skills would be an advantage.Benefits of working at Bank of America: Private healthcare for you and your family.Competitive pension plan and life assurance.20 days of back-up childcare and adult care per annum.Flexible benefits to suit personal circumstances.Access to an Employee Assistance Program.Opportunities to donate to charities and volunteer in the community.Bank of America: Good conduct and sound judgment are crucial to our long-term success.
