Requirements of the General Manager Proven experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-traffic location.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and inventory management.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities of the General Manager Oversee daily operations, including staff management, client relations, and service delivery.
Inspire and lead a diverse team to achieve excellence.
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of catering services and soft services, including maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Foster positive relationships with clients, proactively addressing their needs and resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction.
Manage inventory needs and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Develop and manage budgetary and resource allocation plans to optimise profitability.
Negotiate with vendors and service providers to control costs.
Foster a culture of inclusion and teamwork through consistent team-building activities.
Generate and analyse business, cost, and employee performance reports for senior management.
Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements.
Plan new promotions and initiatives, contributing to business development.
