General Manager Quality, Risk and Patient Safety - HSE Mid-West.

Location of Post HSE Mid-West, Ground Floor, Houston Hall, Raheen Business Park, Limerick V94 PKF1

Purpose of the Post The General Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of services within the Quality, Risk and Patient Safety Department, through continuous control, monitoring, review and delivery on core programmes of work in quality, safety and risk management.
To include the implementation of the HSE's Patient Safety Strategy 2019 – 2024, clinical effectiveness, clinical audit, service user involvement; risk management, complaints, incident management, patient safety and service improvement.
The post holder will co-ordinate the Quality and Patient Safety Agenda and be accountable for the organisational achievement of conformance and performance with internal and external compliance requirements.
