General Operative

We are looking for a General Operative to join our expanding team on our residential and commercial sites around the West of Ireland.
You will be working with an accomplished construction company as a valued team member and have great opportunities to progress within the company.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Comply with all site rules and wear all necessary PPE for the task being undertaken, and maintain in good order.
• Carry out tasks in a timely and safe manner.
• Attend and participate in HSE training where required.
• Use plant, equipment and hand tools with due care and attention, and only if authorized and trained to do so.
• In the event of an accident, defective equipment, or if any work area is unsafe escalate to manager immediately.
• Be familiar with the HSE Policies of the company, and where possible and practical, follow these policies during the performance of the works.
• Recycling of materials, segregating waste, energy conservation and other environmental initiatives of the company.
