My client is an esteemed and well-established leader in the beverage industry in Ireland, with a proud history spanning over 40 years. As part of their continued growth and commitment to excellence, they are seeking a committed General Operative to join their team immediately. Position Overview: As a General Operative, you will play a crucial role in the company's operations, supporting various tasks within the company. Mechanical knowledge is a bonus however if you have a strong interest in learning, my client will provide the necessary training. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who is eager to learn and grow within a respected industry leader. The hours are flexible any 5 over 7, the wage is €16.00 per hour. With this being busy season for my client, there is plenty of overtime available. This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly. Responsibilities: Assist in taking inventory, tracking stock levels, and ensuring accurate records of products. Tag and label products for identification and tracking purposes. Conduct PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) on equipment to ensure safety and compliance standards are met. Utilize and expand your mechanical knowledge to support maintenance and operational tasks as needed. Hold a B or B1 driving license to assist with tasks that may involve driving company vehicles as required. Participate in company-provided training to enhance your skills and knowledge in various areas. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and contribute to a positive work environment. Qualifications: Valid Forklift licence Mechanical knowledge or a strong interest in learning. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
