Aim to be part of a high performing team.Conduct visual inspection of materials for damage, defect or foreign material and verification of material batch numbers and shelf life.Verify actual availability of material (ingredients, packaging & consumables), tooling & equipment prior to production, process start up, changeovers, or clean downs.Setup the machine / line / area for production ensuring all the following are available; controls for working safely, hygiene standards, machines, parts, tools & labour and conduct product / process changeovers as specified in SOP's. Help the Team Leader organise the line team during start up, changeover & clean downRecord and collect relevant data e.g.
downtime, waste, yield, non-conformances, rework, machine performance, and equipment changeover times etc.Subject all WIP / finished product to standard operating checks to ensure they meet the required specification before releasing to the next process.Conduct periodic quality inspections, record results & take product samples before, during and after production as detailed in production specification documents and SOP's.Document results from QC inspections and assess the impact on product/process flow.
Determine if corrective action is required and pursue implementation of corrective action to ensure continuation of production flow.OPEX Improvement Pre / during / post daily operations check process equipment as detailed in Autonomous Maintenance SOP's.Collect data to underpin decisions for the allocation of resource within the production stream.Work towards improving key metrics for the production stream and be involved in 3C problem solving activity.Standardise by following all available 5S, Work Element Sheets, Standard Operating Procedures and other standards required to run the area effectively.Ensure that poor quality is not passed on to the next stage of the process.Skills & KnowledgeProficient written, numerical and verbal skillsFluency of English language (Oral and Written)Technical Ability to complete required standard work at full line speed.
