Job Description John Crane Shannon is currently seeking a dedicated and versatile General Operator to join the team at our Shannon facility, specialising in the production of welded metal bellows.
This dynamic role involves performing a wide range of operational duties across the plant, including working with bellows production equipment, welding machinery, and CNC lathes.
Additionally, responsibilities may extend to supporting machine shop operations, managing stores, and maintaining inventory.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to ensuring high-quality output across all assigned tasks within our innovative manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to): The role will be responsible for general operator duties throughout the plant.
The production operator may be deployed throughout the plant in the operations of bellows, welding machinery, machine shop, CNC lathes, as well as Stores and Inventory Duties.
Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Excellent hand-eye co-ordination.
Ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative.
