We are seeking a GIS Analyst for an office-based role in Dublin. The candidate will assist both design and construction teams in GIS data management, transfers between GIS systems, system support & development and creating & supporting system dashboards and automated scripts.

Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into you. Create geodatabases, ArcGIS Online feature services, SQL tables, or other data tables per specification in defined data models. Design data models to meet project needs. Validate and clean datasets using manual or automated processes. Create/manage ETL processes for data transfers between internal or external data stores. Liaise with the Operations Teams to ensure the specific data model is adhered to. Create dashboards, web apps, web maps & Survey123 forms on ArcGIS Online. Develop and maintain ArcGIS & PowerBI dashboards & reports to effectively visualize and communicate field data to users. Apply innovative solutions to system challenges. Act as 2nd line support for GIS related queries. Liaise with our software partner and in-house IT Development team on updates, modifications and tool development on an ongoing basis. Assist with administering ESRI licenses and access across the internal & subcontracting teams. Understand the end-to-end operation from data receipt through to delivery to the client. Administrate and update shared project documentation & training manuals accurately. Communicate clearly and in a positive manner with numerous field and office-based staff members of various levels on the project team. Support the Operations Manager & GIS Manager in other GIS platform related activities as required. Work closely with the operation's back office and management teams to create a supportive environment to complete tasks within tight deadlines and to high standards. Person Specification Education/Qualifications Tertiary qualification in GIS or related discipline. Training certificates completed in ESRI/ArcGIS systems. Experience 3+ years experience working in the GIS field. Experience in working with ESRI suite of products including Field Maps & Survey123. Working knowledge of telecommunications networks with experience in FTTx Design & rollout (preferred). Skills & Competencies Technical ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, FME, Python, ArcGIS API for Python, Arcade, PostGIS, SQL, Power BI, Excel. Possess strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and Teams. Carry out work using best GIS practice. Interpersonal Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills required. Business Skills People Management. Delegation and Time Management. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask coupled with experience working in fast-paced Engineering projects in a production-based environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
