This role will be for 15 months FTC to cover maternity leave and can be based out of offices in Cork or Tullamore.
As a GIS Analyst you will work within the existing Irish GIS Team to provide GIS services and support to many departments within Statkraft- which includes the collection and processing of datasets from many different sources, data management, analysis of spatial data.

As a GIS Analyst in the Project Development Services Team, you'll: Support the current Irish GIS Team with a primary focus on the Irish Project pipeline comprising of onshore wind, offshore wind, solar and grid services projects.
Create maps for our projects which include land, leases, wayleaves and environmental.
Work with constraints analysis along with querying and filtering relevant data.
Support digitalisation - both process improvements and data capture and conversion.
Maintain and develop interactive web and mapping applications Qualifications We are looking for an experienced GIS Analyst with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions.
University degree or post graduate GIS Diploma Experience in a similar role ideally within the renewable energy sector Experience in creating maps and visual data for projects Knowledge of basic GIS packages including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS PRO, ArcGIS Earth, Field maps, Survey 123 and interactive web applications would be a considerable advantage.
Exposure to AGOL, CAD and FME.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
Excel, power point etc Experiences in these areas are also useful in your role: Ability to adapt to other new software and systems.
Ability to manage a large workload in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment.

You will be required to be in the office three days per week.
