Description Exciting opportunity for an experienced GIS Applications Technical Analyst to join Ireland's national regulated water provider on a permanent basis. The prime responsibilities of the GIS Applications Technical Analyst are the support and enhancements of the GIS applications in use.
Your role In this role, you will ensure the smooth running of GIS applications and related services. You will support the design, development, modification and maintenance of the GIS systems, working with the Applications Build & Delivery team as appropriate, with a particular focus on ensuring the technical aspects of the GIS systems are configured and implemented according to best practices. Other duties and responsibilities will include:
Testing of new and updated GIS functionality as well as systems integration testing in conjunction with other application analystsSupporting the Applications Build & Delivery team with GIS projects through all phases from initiation to completion, with a particular focus on the technical aspects of the projectManagement of the GIS incident queue on Service Now including incident reporting and analysisAct as part of the GIS Resolver Group, with a particular focus on the resolution of technical issuesSupporting the maintenance of GIS Environments; Development, Testing, Acceptance, ProductionQualifications and skills required Relevant third level qualification and or accreditation desired3+ years of technical implementation and support experience with GIS systemsPrevious experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirableAbility to develop and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholdersProven track record with dealing with complex issues, proactively and in a timely fashion along with the ability to communicate information to others.Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements and propose and implement solutions.What you'll get in return Permanent role with State owned Water utility organizationSalary + performance bonus + pension contributionHybrid working arrangementsHow to apply If you are interested in exploring this role further, please send a copy of your most recent CV to ******.
