Overview PepsiCo is on the look-out for a Global Design Associate Engineer to join our global engineering function based in Cork. We are the concentrate business in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo's mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. Responsibilities Role Responsibilities Provide Process Engineering capability specializing in process design solutions for PGCS Beverage Concentrate Manufacturing PlatformsEnsure new & existing products/formulas are manufactured to PepsiCo standards Support the design of key Strategic Capital Programs and InitiativesSupport designs incorporating innovative solutions and leverage new technology to deliver value to the businessSupport the development and leverage best practices from PepsiCo divisions as well as from other industries to deliver world class performance in plant and equipment design.Provide technical guidance during project design and implementation, including Commissioning & Process Qualification, to assure viability of technology in proposed configuration Utilize Engineering first principles, scientific methods, and processing systems knowledge to develop technical process equipment solutions that both create new business opportunities and solve existing equipment needs.Develop sustainable engineering practices and programmes ensuring sustainability in plant design and operation Qualifications Qualifications and requirements Min 2 years process industry experience in engineering with additional operations or maintenance exposure and extensive capital project management experienceDegree qualification in Chemical or Process engineering or equivalentExperience required in the following areas:Process plant technical standardsProject concept developmentBusiness case and capital approvalDesign, Procurement and InstallationConstruction, Commissioning and ValidationEnvironmental, health and safety managementExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, proven ability to work at all levels in an international organizationADDITIONAL SKILLS Proven experience delivering the design aspects of small to medium capital projects on an on-going operation in a diverse environmentFood & Beverage experiencePepsiCo products are enjoyed by consumers more than one billion times a day in more than 200 countries and territories around the world.
