We are growing and would like to add a new member to our team. You will join a group of highly motivated individuals, to help us grow Phorest faster.
The Opportunity We are looking for a Global Events & PR Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the marketing director, this position interfaces directly with the senior leadership team, the brand partnership team, the website manager and the regional marketing and leadership teams. This is a function that sits within the global marketing team however requires collaboration across all departments and functions throughout Phorest.

This role requires a confident event manager and strategic thinker who can deliver first class events to a global audience, showcasing Phorest as the best in class for growth. The candidate will lead and manage all aspects of the Salon Owners Summit whilst working closely with the Global Partnership Manager, creating new opportunities to help grow the business.
What You Will Do Lead the annual Phorest Summit event including 360 event management, budget management, comms and promotion and identifying commercial opportunities Support regions and their event and PR requirements/ initiatives Create a strategy for getting the Phorest brand out there through speaker opportunities & attendance at events etc Support on Partnership events. This is how we best access their audience. Campaigns create awareness but in person events create sales and revenue Working closely with the regional teams to maximise the impact of the partnership and the outbound budget Act as a liaison between our company and our partners, and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders Manage and work closely with the Event Sales Executive to ensure success of the event Who You Are 6+ years of experience in event management in large scale conferences and events Management of 1-2 staff essential Degree in event management, project management or marketing is preferred but not essential with equivalent experience Good commercial acumen and budget management are key. Excellent planning, organisation, interpersonal, and customer service skills Excellent problem solving and attention to detail Excellent communication with the ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team The Specifics Plan and budget for all Global events, programs, and initiatives Strong creativity and innovation skills The ability to build and maintain a personal ethos of high performance Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with personal pride in every output you deliver Strong budget management skills Can-do attitude Hands-on approach, and not afraid to roll sleeves up and get things done Benefits Your wellbeing is important to us - we provide private healthcare, 2 Wellness Days, an employee assistance program and a free online GP service.
