As Global Investment Data Manager you will lead a team of specialists providing critical data and insights to partners across our global footprint.
Overview: You will manage a team provisioning data across operations, acquisition, analysis, and distribution services to front, middle and back-office teams, plus other enterprise data clients and internal partners and stakeholders. You will operate and collaborate as part of a global investment data management group, ensuring the team's services meet data consumer expectations, anticipating client needs and leading and collaborating in initiatives to improve service delivery.
Core Responsibilities: Lead, manage and motivate staff, creating an engaged and positive team atmosphere. Provide guidance, training and motivation and set challenging performance standards, driving an inclusive, caring culture that values efficiency and accuracy.Lead a team of specialists to provide data acquisition, analysis, and distribution services. Take accountability for meeting the tactical and strategic objectives of Global Investment Data Management and ensure the team's service meets data consumer expectations.Be tenacious in identifying and mitigating risks and regulatory changes that impact the team. Anticipate client needs and develops impact and mitigation approaches.Lead the team in its support of new projects and initiatives. Consider the global impact of changes and ensure clear communication and smooth implementation.Manage stakeholder relationships locally and across the enterprise, while understanding the need to deliver day-to-day work.Show curiosity in developing knowledge of financial markets, securities, and global investment data themes to bring an informed perspective to the data management process.What it takes: You must be able to demonstrate that you can work on complex issues and function in a high volume and fast-paced environment with multiple and diverse responsibilities. You will have a varied and changing workload and collaborating across our business, so you will need excellent communication, stakeholder relationship management, negotiation and analytical skills. You should have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently on demanding issues, often to tight deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience: Significant relevant work experience, including team leadership.Demonstrated expertise of financial concepts and analytical capabilities.Exceptional client relationship, leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills.Excellent judgment and ability to analyse issues quickly and independently.Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others.Additional factors: As this is a hybrid role, your normal working pattern will be working in our Dublin office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You will also need to travel frequently to London, initially fortnightly while you onboard in the role, and monthly thereafter.
