Global Procurement Operations Manager In this key role you will report to the Global Procurement Operations Director & be responsible for supporting the establishment & development of a global operations function.
You will : Manage categories including: terminal operations maintenance, materials & services, fleet, supplies & equipment for sites across Europe & USA, with close cooperation with potential BPO partners.
Support building a best-in-class global procurement dept.
delivering commercial & operational value benefits through RFX, E-Procurement & leveraging int/ext supplier relationships for multimillion-dollar supplier spend.

Deliver additional procurement synergies for the company network, inc. standardisation, exploiting unleveraged scale opps, consolidate vendors & distribution points, challenge current bus.

Provide strategic & tactical guidance on key categories based on marked trends, int/external best practices, & company performance objectives.
Work with cross-functional teams to diagnose, quantify, address reg/national opps & alternative revenues.

Qualifications, Experience & Interpersonal skills BA business, economics etc with 5 years procurement, commercial & contract mgt exp.
Ideally exp.
in retail/similar, & record in unlocking commercial value.
Excellent commercial & operational mindset.
Strong negotiation & analytical skill set.
Strong leadership skills & can direct others according to company stds.
Can network & establish partnerships int/ext.
