A Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a large-scale commercial project in Dublin.

Role: Take full responsibility for cost management and budget control on a large-scale commercial project.
Manage procurement processes, including tendering, awarding contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships.
Conduct detailed cost reporting and forecasting to ensure financial transparency and identify potential risks.
Oversee subcontractor accounts, ensuring payments are made in line with agreed terms.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, resolving disputes and managing claims effectively.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the commercial team.
Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients, design teams, and senior management, to ensure project objectives are met.
Track project deliverables and ensure that commercial and administrative systems, budgets, and cost control procedures are utilised.
Manage commercial teams to drive successful delivery of all projects and lead the commercial planning and implementation of the project.
Conduct an in-depth review of all tender documentation, identifying any risks or potential gains.
Review and approve selected contractors and suppliers.
Ensure contractual correspondence in accordance with contract terms, including detailed analysis and documentation of EOT notifications and claims.
Report on actual costs versus estimates, identifying variances and implementing resolutions.
Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
Ensure subcontracts are properly prepared and managed Ensure all project team members (including site staff) understand contractual arrangements to meet client and partner requirements.
Requirements: 5+ years experience in Quantity Surveying, with a proven track record on large-scale commercial projects.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including RIAI, Public Works, and NEC forms.
Excellent financial and commercial acumen Salary and Benefits: €75k - €85k Company vehicle.
