Global Trade is responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of policies, programs, and platforms to enable compliant and efficient international movement of products and technologies.
Global Trade Operations is responsible for the execution of import and export activities throughout the region by providing the most cost-effective and timely logistics and customs support with an unyielding commitment to regulatory and international trade compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Manages the day-to-day activities of the EMEA Operations team within the Global Trade Operations organization. The EMEA Operations team is responsible for: 3PL and carrier management. Import/Export documentation, broker instructions, and entry compliance. The update of all GT-related IT systems to allow for a seamless customs clearance without additional delays and costs to the CAH organization. Ensure that all tickets received through Global Trade Now are assigned and resolved in a timely manner. Support critical projects and other teams within the CAH organization. Qualifications: BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred. Advance Degree is desired. 8+ years of experience in Import/Export operations. Previous experience in a people management role preferred. Prior experience in medical or pharmaceutical industry preferred. Customs Brokers License preferred.
