ResponsibilitiesResearch and Development of New Technologies: Spearhead comprehensive research initiatives including surveys, interviews, and extensive market analysis to unearth potent AI applications within Global Valuation.Curate and manage a dynamic backlog of pilot projects, evaluating each based on ROI, feasibility, scalability, and security conformities.Pilot Project Leadership: Define clear objectives, metrics, and timelines for pilot projects, ensuring each aligns with strategic goals and incorporates swift, cost-efficient validation processes.Utilize agile methodologies and lean principles to conduct fast-paced, iterative pilot testing, refining or escalating projects based on performance and outcomes.Strategic Implementation and Integration: Oversee the practical implementation of successful technologies into the valuation mainstream, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and processes.Foster adept adoption and optimization of new tools within the organization.Collaboration and Compliance: Act as a liaison among various oversight and innovation teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to technology adoption that upholds stringent security and compliance standards.Cultivate a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and ethical use of technology, with a strong focus on solving substantive actuarial challenges.Leadership and Cultural Development: Provide visionary leadership within the Global Valuation Innovation Team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Champion the development of innovative skillsets among actuaries, enhancing their capability to leverage new tools effectively.Advocacy and Industry Leadership: Represent RGA in industry forums and conferences, advocating for advanced technological applications in valuation practices.Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology providers, industry experts, and regulatory bodies to keep abreast of emerging trends and opportunities.RequirementsAdvanced degree in a technology, innovation, or financial-related fieldFellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Institute of Actuaries (FIA)Required: Minimum 10 years of experience in life and health insurance, actuarial, and/or product managementProven track record of leading transformative projects and teams with a strategic and analytical approach to problem-solving.Highly advanced communication and leadership skills, capable of mentoring teams and steering multiple projects with strategic finesse and technical acumen.Proficiency in project management software and tools
