Job FunctionSoft Services GMP Shift Team Leader ensures the smooth running of the site adhering to the Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification. Soft Services GMP Shift Team Leader will assist in providing an efficient and effective cleaning service in accordance with contractual obligations, company policy, and standards. They will manage day-to-day operations on the ground, liaise closely with the Soft Services GMP Supervisor, organize cover for staff in their absence, and ensure work instructions are followed.
ResponsibilitiesManage, develop, and mentor the shift teamEngage the shift team to deliver cleaning schedule requirements while maintaining a culture of compliance, safety, and innovationEnsure all documentation and logbook entries are completed as Good Documentation Practice (GDP)Schedule daily activities fairly and ensure the cleaning matrix is followedContinuously coach and communicate any outstanding issues to all staffManage the shift team while covering for the Shift SupervisorEnsure staff follow Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and report noncompliance to the Shift SupervisorSchedule daily activities fairly, ensure the cleaning matrix is followed, and cover for the Shift SupervisorFlexibility and ability to work day/night shifts, 12 hours per dayAssist the Soft Services GMP Shift Supervisor in supervising the cleaning service staff, including workload allocation, progress monitoring, performance evaluation, work priorities determination, productivity, and quality controlMonitor cleaning equipment usage and communicate any issues to the Soft Services GMP SupervisorConduct stock checks on equipment, materials, and consumables as requiredRequired Qualifications and Desired ExperienceGMP ExperienceSchedule planningGood work recordExcellent computer literacy essential for administrative purposesExperience using cleaning equipmentProficiency in Microsoft OfficeWorking PatternMonday-Sunday, 42 hours per week
