Background Founded in 1894 and situated 10 miles to the north of Dublin City, Portmarnock is consistently ranked amongst the top courses in the world.
With a rich history closely aligned to the promotion and development of golf in Ireland, Portmarnock has hosted many national and international events.
Most recently the Club played host to the Men's Amateur Championship in 2019 and the Women's Amateur Championship in 2024.

Overview The Golf Administrator provides administrative support to the wider golf operations department.
You will be interacting regularly with members, guests, and tour operators.
You will work closely with the Reservations team to manage the pre-arrival stage for all golf bookings and assist with data gathering and data analysis.

An integral part of the role will be working with and supporting the Competitions Committee with the effective management and running of all competitions throughout the club.
Therefore, a good knowledge of golf, along with a comprehensive understanding of competition formats and handicapping is required for this role.

A passion for customer service, and the ability to manage your time effectively to ensure that all aspects of the role are fulfilled are important skillsets required for this role.

Due to the nature of the golf season, there will be a high demand on duties throughout the summer months with some weekend work required as needed.
This role is ideal for someone who would like a long-term career in the golf industry and is keen to progress their experience and education at the home of one of the world's leading links courses.
