Main purpose of the role:
Ensure that the goods received to the store are effectively managed at the point of receipt. Maintain the stock room, manage returns and ensure HACCP and Health & Safety standards are adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have/be: HACCP knowledge is desirableExcellent communication skillsAbility to prioritise dutiesStrong attention to detail, organised and flexibleAbility to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentPrevious stock management experience is desirableMain duties: Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and ImaginativeCheck and record goods inwards against delivery docket receivedKeep back stores area secure by controlling the movement of suppliers in goods receiving areaSubmit all invoice/delivery documentation to the relevant person on a daily basisAdhere to stocktaking proceduresMaintain correct storage and documentation of returnsManage the breakdown, storage and return of combisDeal with all transactions with customers and suppliers in a professional mannerAdhere to waste disposal procedures at all timesFollow store security proceduresAbout the locality:
We are currently recruiting for Full Time Back Store Attendant. Experience in a similar role is an advantage. Reliably commute or plan to relocate to our store before commencing employment, Location Barna Galway H91F8XT. Must be available for early starts.
