This would suit someone who wants to be involved in building a world-class team of software engineers.
The Qualcomm graphics system team in Cork will be developing software for the next generation of graphics processors (GPU).
The Systems Software Team is responsible for delivering device drivers and tools for prototyping, exploring and verifyingnew and prospective features for next generation GPU's.
System software engineers workclosely with top mobile GPU experts,systems architects,hardware designers, verification engineers and silicon team throughout the development life cycle of GPU. Knowledge of graphics, algorithms, computer architectures, and operating systems are requiredto developdevice drivers and solutions to support the graphics teamfor validation of future Adreno GPU's.
You will need to cultivate a deep understanding of Qualcomm's Adreno hardware architecture and its impact onrelevant graphics APIs. You will be the subject-matter expert within the team and guide and mentor your team members.
Please note, you must have Graphics Rendering experience to be considered.
