General Summary: About the role The Qualcomm graphics system team in Cork will be developing software for the next generation of graphics processors (GPU).
The Systems Software Team is responsible for delivering device drivers and tools for prototyping, exploring, and verifying new and prospective features for next generation GPUs.
System software engineers work closely with top mobile GPU experts, systems architects, hardware designers, verification engineers, and the silicon team throughout the development life cycle of GPUs.
Knowledge of graphics, algorithms, computer architectures, and operating systems are required to develop device drivers and solutions to support the graphics team for validation of future Adreno GPUs.
You will need to cultivate a deep understanding of Qualcomm's Adreno hardware architecture and its impact on relevant graphics APIs.
You will be the subject-matter expert within the team and guide and mentor your team members.
