Job Title: Grade IV Assistant Staff Officer Location: Ardnanagh, Roscommon Duration: Month to month contract Pay rate: €18.48- €28.90 per hour depending on previous relevant public sector experience Immediate Start Job Description: Assistant Staff Officer in the area of purchase to pay and payroll inputter.
Plus, other duty's deemed necessary in the finance Department.
Responsibilities: - Perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the efficient operation of the office.
- Utilize MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook) for document preparation, data analysis, and presentations.
- Manage and maintain accurate data records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure all tasks and projects are completed within set deadlines.
- Maintain accurate financial records and databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for senior staff.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls, in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
- Provide general administrative support to the team and other departments as needed.

Requirements: - Proven experience as a Clerical Officer or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- Exceptional organizational and diary management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications: - A relevant qualification in administration, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a public sector or corporate environment.
