Job purpose

The Grade IV Medical Secretary in Family Heart Screening will have a key role in managing and developing the function of the clinical administrative support for the service.
He/She will be responsible for ensuring optimal clinical administrative support is provided to the speciality group in an efficient, cost effective and streamlined manner.
The post holder will also work closely with the Clinical Lead and Cardiology Supervisor to ensure balanced administrative support for the project.

He/she will co-ordinate and provide administration support to the team providing virtual and face to face consultation for Family Heart Screening service within the Mater Hospital.
The post holder will be expected to liaise with the wider Cardiology Service and other speciality servcies at MMUH as required.
