Role: Graduate Calibration Engineer - Field Based  Location: Co. Kildare Our Client: Our client is a global technical solutions company with offices all over world, who provide testing and monitoring solutions for the avionics, medical and life sciences, telecommunications, utilities and broadcast industries among others.  The Irish office in Kildare is now looking to add an entry level Calibration Engineer to the team.
This is a full-time, permanent role based onsite at the company offices.
A company van (personal use included and fuel card provided), full onsite training program in the state of the art lab, company workwear, laptop and phone will all be provided for the successful candidate.  The hours will be mostly Monday to Friday, with flexitime,  and will involve site based travel with occasional overnights for work with some larger multinational customers.
Role Overview: This role will provide the successful candidate with an excellent growth opportunity where you will receive full training and will be responsible for the scheduling, coordination, and over time the end to end ownership to completion of calibrations, both in their lab and onsite at  customers locations.
Role and Responsibilities: Perform scheduled calibration of measuring & test equipment and ensure all activities are completed in accordance with applicable procedures and standards Provide in depth technical knowledge and support to customers and colleagues Act as the instrumentation owner with accountability for the calibration programs Coordinate completion of all calibration schedules  Maintain a working and in-depth knowledge of current  products, calibration, and procedures Provide support to other teams as required Skills & Requirements: Certification or Degree in Engineering or a similar relevant field Full, clean driving licence At least 1 years experience in  electronic engineering , fault finding, calibration or diagnostics  Practical or academic experience calibrating and maintaining quality systems preferred  Ability to work effectively on own initiative  Strong numerical and technology skills  Benefits?: Competitive Salary  Annual Performance Bonus Company Wellness program and events Company Pension Scheme Flexitime  Travel expenses On-site parking *N.B: Please note all candidate must be based in Ireland holding a current valid working visa and full clean driving license to be considered.
